About the game
A chessboard opens and the job is checkmate: surround the other king while yours stays out of trouble. You choose the computer or a person connected from elsewhere, then alternate turns pushing one piece at a time. Read what the other side is building before you commit, since a loose piece can decide the match.
How to play
- On a computer, click the piece, then click the square where it should land.
- On a phone, tap the piece first and tap its destination square next.
- Turns alternate, one piece at a time, until a king is trapped.
