About the game

Sudoku Block Puzzle takes the 9x9 grid you know from sudoku and turns it into a block-dropping puzzle. You get pieces in a range of shapes and place each one on empty cells; they cannot overlap. Whenever a line across, a line down or a 3x3 square fills up, those cells clear and the board opens again.

One move can wipe several lines at once, which counts as a combo, and clearing on consecutive moves builds a streak for extra points. Daily Challenges hand out trophies. The round stops as soon as a piece has nowhere left to go, so keep an eye on the space you leave behind.

How to play

  • Drag a block from the tray onto the 9x9 board. It has to sit on empty cells, with no overlap.
  • Fill a whole row, a whole column or a whole 3x3 square to clear those cells.
  • Clear more than one set in the same move for a combo, and clear on back-to-back moves to build a streak.
  • The round ends when none of the remaining blocks fit anywhere on the grid.
