Privacy Policy

Your data and how Poki deals with it: that is the subject of this page. Briefly: nothing about you is stored, and we never ask who you are.

No accounts, no forms

On this site you will not find a registration, a login, a contact form or a newsletter. Playing requires no name, no email and no birth date from you. Player profiles are not something we create, and data is sold to nobody.

Server logs

Each time a page is requested, our server records standard technical logs, as any website does. Covered by these are your IP address, your browser and device type, the time of the request and the page asked for. Keeping the site running and spotting abuse or attacks is what such logs help us do. A limited time later, they are deleted. Neither to identify you personally nor to track what you do once you leave do they serve.

Games from other developers

Independent developers and a game distribution partner supply the games on Poki as embeds. They load inside a frame on our page, and their makers run their own code there. Ads are shown by some of them, and cookies or similar storage (local storage, for example) are used to remember settings, save progress or measure ads. Their own privacy policies govern that, not ours. What a game stores inside its frame is outside our control, and we cannot see it.

Cookies

On the site itself, no advertising or analytics cookies are set by us. The embedded games and their ad partners are where any cookies you find come from. To remove them, open your browser settings, locate the section for cookies and site data, and delete what is stored for this site. Blocking third-party cookies there also helps, and usually stops ad cookies inside game frames. Progress or settings in some games may be reset by clearing cookies, because that data lives in your browser.

Children

Poki is played by lots of young people, and seriously we take that. From anyone, children included, we do not knowingly collect personal data, since nothing on the site collects it. Should you believe a game has asked a child for personal details, write to us and we will look into it.

Changes and contact

Should this policy change, the updated version will be posted on this page. Questions about privacy, cookies or a specific game: [email protected].
