About the game

SNAKES hands you a grid with gaps in it and a set of colorful snakes. You slide each one around until no empty square is left, and that clears the level. Every layout is put together by hand, and the later grids ask you to look at the whole board before you touch a snake.

The art is plain and the background music is light, so your eyes stay on the squares. Nothing counts down, which means you can sit on one layout as long as you need. Racing a friend on the same puzzle is there if you want pressure.

How to play

  • Move the snakes around the board.
  • Cover every empty square to finish the level.
  • Several snakes share the grid, so a move changes the space the others have left.
  • Later layouts are trickier, so plan where each snake ends up.
