About the game

A grid, a few numbers along the top and the left edge, and a picture hidden underneath. That is the whole setup of Nonogram. Each clue counts how many squares sit filled together in that line, and when a line shows more than one number, the groups are split by at least one empty square.

Work line by line, filling only what the clues prove, then compare rows with columns until the image shows up. You pick the difficulty, so a short break can take an easy grid and a longer sitting a harder one. Counting is most of the job, and that is what keeps it calm.

How to play

  • Click or tap a square to fill it, and clear it again if the numbers do not back it up.
  • Numbers above a column and left of a row each count one block of filled squares in that line.
  • Two or more numbers in a line mean separate blocks, with at least one empty square between them. A clue of 3 1 is three filled, a gap, then one.
  • Solve from the clues only, checking rows against columns, without guessing.
